Vaisala PTB210 Offshore Barometer

The Vaisala PTB210 Digital Barometer is aimed towards barometric pressure monitoring in harsh, outdoor installations such as offshore platforms.  The Vaisala BAROCAP® sensor itself has a proven track record for stability and low uncertainty barometric pressure measurement.   Vaisala are an industry recognised manufacturer of weather monitoring instrumentation and their instrumentation is commonly installed in weather stations, data buoys and ships and airport runways.

The Vaisala PTB210 digital barometer has a non corrosive PC plastic electronics housing rated to IP65 and is of compact design with approx dimensions 120x50x32mm and weight 110g (ex/cable).  It is designed to be fitted directly to the Static Pressure Head, SPH10 or SPH20, to ensure a reliable, stable measurement free of nuisance readings caused by direct wind interference.
