Vaisala VDL200 Data Logger

Vaisala VDL200 data logger is a stable, robust and accurate datalogger for use with a number of Vaisala probes.  This unique Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) device utilises HUMICAP sensor technology for a repeatable and accurate humidity measurement.   Vaisala VDL200 is part of the Continuous Monitoring System (CMS), and therefore works with viewLinc software for GxP regulated life science industries.  An alternative to the VDL for completely wireless integration would be the Vaisala RFL100 Wireless Datalogger.  Where network access points are available, then the VDL200 ensures a robust connected signal where multiple sensors can be daisy chained to significantly reduce cabling overheads.

Vaisala VDL200 can be used with several interchangeable probes. This includes probes for monitoring temperature, relative humidity, and CO2 levels.  The ANP115 probe allows a traditional wired “4-20mA” transmitter to be connected and logged as part of the CMS system.  VDL200 can also connect to Vaisala Insight PC software for onsite service, configuration and calibration.
