Influx iMT Variable Area Flowmeter is a metal tube variable area flowmeter with a large, easy to read display and optional relay or transmitter output.
Suitable for measuring Gas or Liquid flow rates in a wide range of industries and applications.
The iMT Variable Area Flowmeter has a rugged, stainless steel construction which makes it well suited to high pressure, temperature and harsh environmental conditions. The metal tube design really lends itself well to outdoor, cold weather applications, where a glass tube variable area flowmeter could break due to temperature differences between fluid inside and cold temperature outside.
Available in flanged or screwed connections, the iMT Variable Area Flowmeter is a very stable and highly repeatable flowmeter. Commonly used in Oil and Gas, Nuclear and Pharmaceutical industries. For applications such as fuel flow monitoring, compressor monitoring and cooling water flow indication.
Flanged connections are available from 1/2″ to 3″ ANSI 150lb, screwed connections from 1/2″ to 2″ BSPP. Flow rates are available over a wide range from 0.1…750m3/h for gasses (Air equivalent) and for liquids 5l/h…25m3/h (water equivalent).
Where an output is required, the iMT variable area flowmeter is available with either relay or transmitter outputs. Single or Dual NAMR type switching and 4…20mA transmitter output.
Switching output rated ATEX II 2G for hazardous areas, similarly the 2-wire, 4….20mA transmitter output is rated EEx ia IIC T6 or ATEX II 2GD T70°C, application dependant.
Fluidic are a recognised distributor of Influx Measurements for Scotland and the North of England. The iMT Variable Area Flowmeter is manufactured in the UK by Influx Measurements so lead times are kept to a minimum. Our instrumentation engineers are product trained and are able to help with instrument selection within the full Influx Measurements supply scope.
