U1000MKII-HM-WM Clamp-on Heat/Energy Meter with Wall Mounted Keypad & Display

Micronics U1000MKII-HM-WM water flow and heat meter offer a non-intrusive method of energy monitoring for hot water systems in commercial properties. This model comes with a separate wall-mounted keypad and display. The U1000MKII-HM-WM includes clamp-on temperature sensors and a heat meter to calculate the energy use of your commercial hot water system.

  • Ultrasonic time of flight flow measurement with 2x 4 wire Pt100 temperature sensors
    • Temperature sensors on 5m cable as standard, we can offer <30m – please ask Fluidic
  •  Clamp-on pipe-mounted sensors with Wall Mounted keypad and display for wall or panel mounting
  • Suitable for flow velocity measurement from 0.1 – 10m/s
  • Pulse or Frequency Outputs. Pulse for volume flow and Energy KWh (BTU). Frequency for flow rate. The pulse output can be configured as a loss of signal or no flow alarm
  • Modbus communications: Optional Modbus RTU slave, RS485 serial link hardware layer
  • Optional M-BUS comms
  • 2 size options available
    • Small (22mm – 115mm) lines (OD)
    • Large (125mm – 225 mm) lines (OD)
  • Suitable for various line materials (Steel, Stainless Steel, Plastic and Copper)
  • High power, 1Mhz transducers to get through poor/old thick wall pipes and larger pipework
  • Along with standard water applications, we now offer a water/glycol option
  • Temperature range (of the pipe at the flow meter): 0…+85°C
  • Power supply requirements: 12V – 24V +/- 10% AC/DC at 7 watts per unit.
    Optional plug in 12V power supply available
  • IP54 ingress protection rated

 

Micronics U1000MKII-HM-WM uses ‘Ultraflo’ ultrasonic clamp-on time of flight technology to provide an accurate indication of liquid flow rate in a closed pipe without the need for any mechanical parts to be inserted through the pipe wall or intrusive of the flow itself.  Along with significantly reduced installation costs and downtime, this means that the sensor is resistant to buildup and the associated measurement drift that this brings over time.  The included temperature sensors, required to calculate the overall energy of your system, are also non-intrusive and simply fitted by clamping on to the OD of the water pipe.
