Description

The Comac Cal F38 Electro Magnetic Flow Meter is an industrial Mag Flow meter for the measurement of the flow of liquids. The Comac Cal F38 Electro Magnetic Flow Meter is available with a host of standard options, as well as the option of factory customization, making it suitable for a number of applications. Featuring a combination of high accuracy, negligible pressure loss and no moving parts. Not affected by pressure, temperature, viscosity or by solids, the Electro Magnetic Flow Meter is a common choice of flow measurement in a variety of industries. Ideal for wastewater applications or any dirty liquid which is conductive or water based. (Not suitable for hydrocarbons, distilled water, and many non-aqueous solutions.)

The Comac Cal F38 Electro Magnetic Flow Meter is available with a range of process connections. Flanged, sandwich, threaded and hygienic fittings available. The Comac Cal F38 Electro Magnetic Flow Meter also comes in a wide range of sizes from DN10 to DN400, with a variety of liner and electrode material options. Liner options include rubber (hard and soft, with potable water test certificate), PTFE, PFA, Ceramic, PEAK & PVDF. Electrodes can be from CrNi steel DIN 1.4571, Hastelloy C4, Titanium, Tantalum, Platinum (with PVDF lining only). It also has additional electrodes for grounding and empty pipe detection.

The electronics options are variable too, and include a compact mounted option, wall mounted and panel mount options. Flexible output options include pulse, 4…20mA, RS-485 (M-BUS, modbus protocol) and a flow switch option. The electronics housings feature a 2 line x 16 character LCD display, with 2 x external buttons for viewing data and 3 x internal buttons for viewing or adjusting parameters. The compact mounted version has a 350° swivel feature to allow for optimum viewing angle.

The Comac Cal F38 Electro Magnetic Flow Meter features all-welded flow sensors and can be selected as IP65, IP67 or IP68. All electronics options are IP67 as standard. Flanged versions are stainless steel and structural steel with polyurethane coating. Sandwich, threaded and hygienic versions are all stainless steel. Constructional lengths of the flowmeter bodies are standard and indicated on the datasheet, but can be custom made to fit existing pipework or specific application requirements.
