Micatrone VM-5 Moisture Trap

Used in conjunction with Micatrone differential pressure transmitters, Micatrone VM-5 is used to catch condensed water before it hits the (dry service only) transmitter. Condensation is common when the tube is passing different temperature zones. VM-5 is mounted at the lowest position of the pressure tube between the measuring outlet and transmitter or controller.

• Low cost, simple design to prolong life of the DP transmitter
• Removable bowl to dispose of water collected in trap
  • Emptying the bowl is done with the bowl bottom valve knob which is turned a quarter of a turn anti-clock wise.
• Complete with mounting bracket
• Supplied with fittings for 8/6 semi-rigid tubing (also available from Fluidic)
