Honeywell STG700 SMARTLINE Gauge Pressure Transmitters

Honeywell SmartLine Manifolds compliment our range of Smartline pressure and differential pressure transmitters. Manifolds are recommended when installing pressure transmitters to ensure a safe and efficient method of isolating the instrument for maintenance and calibration work. This is particularly true in liquid applications or high pressure installations.
For standard gauge or absolute pressure transmitters, a simple block and bleed manifold may be used. One valve to isolate (block) the process to the transmitter and 1 valve to vent (bleed) any pressure/trapped fluid between the manifold and instrument. For extra safety concerns, a double block and bleed manifold maybe installed.
For differential pressure transmitters, a 3 valve manifold can be used. This allows isolation of each leg, plus equalisation. The equilisation valve is important when opening the manifold to the instrument, particularly in high static but low differential pressure applications. This equilisation valve ensures that an overpressure from one leg does not rupture the transmitter diaphragm.
For improved maintenance functionality, Fluidic reccomend a 5 valve manifold for differential pressure applications. The extra two valves allow bleed ports. After isolation and venting of the transmitter, these extra ports can be used for in-situ calibration of the DP transmitter. Fluidic have a dedicated service and calibration team able to help with onsite calibration, or back in one of our UK calibration labs.
