H&B Sensors RTD510 is a heavy duty immersion style RTD sensor with a plain pot, armoured conduit and flying leads. This multi-purpose temperature probe can be utilised in many applications and secured into a process using a compression fitting or duct plate.
The RTD510 temperature sensor is available as a 2, 3 or 4 wire Pt100 or Pt1000 in either simplex, duplex or triplex configuration. The accuracy class can be selected from 1/10 DIN, 1/5 DIN, 1/3 DIN, class A or class B.
The temperature probe is available with either PTFE, PFA or fibreglass cable and is terminated with tails. The RTD510 has an available temperature range between -196°C and +650°C.
Through our special build department this RTD temperature sensor can be customised to suit your exact requirements including the addition of a connector, strain relief spring or running nut, call Fluidic and speak to our technical sales engineers for UK applications.
As the output of a RTD is resistance dependent, consideration should be given to the lead wires within the probe from the sensor itself. For this reason, Fluidic more commonly supply 3 or 4 wire RTD sensors. The 3rd and 4th wires are used for resistance compensation. Where the signal is to travel any distance, Fluidic recommend the use of a 4/20mA transmitter. We supply various transmitter options and can supply the transmitter and RTD temperature sensor pre-assembled.
Fluidic are the Scottish and Northern England partner for H&B Sensors. We also have an exclusive agreement for supply to the UK nuclear industry Our instrumentation engineers are product trained and are able to help with instrument selection within the full H&B Sensors supply scope. Most products can be custom made for application. Please call either office for more information (Glasgow 0141 641 5920, Warrington 01925 572401)
