The KSR Kuebler Magnetostrictive Level Transmitter is used for high-accuracy continuous level detection of liquids. The construction is similar to our KSR reed chain transmitter, but the accuracy is higher (resolution < 0.1 mm) due to the continuous measurement technology of this instrument.
The magnetostrictive measuring principle of the level sensor enables the continuous measurement of level, independent of physical and chemical changes of the media such as temperature, conductivity, dielectric, pressure, foaming, vacuum, condensation, vapors, bubble formation, boiling effects and density change via HART® interface, the parallel measurement of overall level and interface layer is possible. By means of the level sensor, the level can be displayed proportional to volume or height.
Installation and commissioning of the level sensor is simple: only one calibration is carried out, a re calibration is not required.
Fluidic have a long established partner agreement with KSR Kuebler. Our instrumentation engineers are product trained and able to help with instrument selection within the full KSR Kuebler level instrumentation portfolio. This includes accompanying float switches, float transmitters and bypass level gauges. Please contact either office for more information (Glasgow 0141 641 5920 or Warrington 01925 572401).
