H&B Sensors RHA500 series Hygienic Collection are temperature assemblies combining a spring-loaded RTD sensor with fabricated hygienic thermowells with various process connections. These heavy-duty constructions are designed for use within applications involving high pressures and flow rates.
The RTD temperature sensor is available as a 2, 3 or 4 wire Pt100 or Pt1000 in either simplex, duplex or triplex configuration. The accuracy class can be selected from 1/10 DIN, 1/5 DIN, 1/3 DIN, class A or class B.
These assemblies are available with an aluminium, stainless steel or plastic connection head which has an M20 x 1.5 cable entry. The sensor can be terminated with a ceramic terminal block, 4 to 20 mA transmitter or supplied with tails. There is also an option to specify a loop-powered or battery-powered indicator.
The H&B Sensors Hygienic thermowells are available with either a parallel or tapered stem profile and have a wide variety of process thread connections available.
The solid drilled thermowell is only available in 316 stainless steel.
There are several optional certification and testing services available including 3.1 material certificates to ensure full traceability, pressure testing and positive material identification (PMI)
These assemblies are available with ATEX Exia, IECEx Exia, UKEX Exia (intrinsically safe), ATEX Exd, IECEx Exd or UKEX Exd (flameproof) hazardous area approval for use within Zones 0, 1, 2, 20, 21 and 22.
Fluidic are the Scottish and Northern England partner for H&B Sensors. We also have an exclusive agreement for supply to the UK nuclear industry Our instrumentation engineers are product trained and can help with instrument selection within the full H&B Sensors supply scope. Most products can be custom-made for the application. Please call either office for more information (Glasgow 0141 641 5920, Warrington 01925 572401).
