Status DM650LP loop powered process switch and indicator accepts a (4 to 20) mA signal. It displays the process value in the appropriate engineering units on a 6-digit LCD display. The instrument offers an advanced display mode, allowing the user to also display one or two (1 to 32) character messages.
Additional to the messages, the user may select an alert event to occur when the temperature is within a band. The change-over relay can be used together with the messaging and alert to provide switching at user set switch points. This means the instruments can be used as a loop powered process switch depending on which type of process the (4 to 20) mA loop is measuring. For example temperature or pressure.
The DM650LP can be used as a loop powered process switch.
In addition to this, an on board datalog function is also available to record process details at up to 5000 points. In this case a battery needs to be fitted so the log can continue to be monitored in case of loop failure.
The instrument can be used on top of a temperature probe or can be surface mounted.
Status DM650LP incorporates a 5,000 point data logging function. Each log is time and date stamped together with input process value (PV) and relay state information. The start of log can be delayed if required with either fixed or rolling performed. Two methods of reading the log are available:
