The Vaisala CARBOCAP^® Carbon Dioxide Probe GMP252 is an intelligent, stand-alone, ppm-level probe. It is suitable for harsh and humid CO₂ measurement environments where stable and accurate ppm-level CO₂ measurements are needed. The operating temperature range is -40 … +60 °C and the measurement range is 0 … 10 000 ppm CO₂, (displaying up to 30 000 ppm CO₂ with a slightly reduced accuracy). It’s intended for measuring CO₂ in agriculture, refrigeration, greenhouses, demanding HVAC applications, and for plant growth chamber manufacturers.

For cleanrooms with washdown consider the optional ASM212017SP Spray Shield to protect from water ingress.

For higher range “%CO₂” ranges, consider the Vaisala GMP251 series.

GMP252 incorporates an internal temperature sensor for compensation of the CO2 measurement according to ambient temperature. GMP252 is resistant to dust and most chemicals, such as, H2O2 and alcohol-based cleaning agents.

It can also be connected to the Indigo 200 series transmitters for an extended selection of outputs and configuration. Alternativly a low cost, blind relay box is available to add switch outputs to the GMP252 probe only design.

The GMP252 can also be placed inside the Vaisala Radiation Shield DTR250 for measuring dynamically outdoor CO₂ levels.

The GMP252 replaces the now obsolete GMM222 and GMT222.
