Honeywell OELD Smart Junction Box

Honeywell OELD (Optima Excel Local Display) is a smart junction box for the Searchpoint Optima Plus and Searchline Excel infrared detectors for flammable hydrocarbons. It includes an LCD screen for gas information, a “traffic light” indicator for quick detector status, and Bluetooth® connectivity for simplified, non-intrusive maintenance. Simply pair the Honeywell OELD with an intrinsically safe smartphone; then use the smartphone app to interact with the gas detector from up to 10 meters (30 feet) away. For maximum flexibility, the gas detector can be mounted either directly or remotely.

When you pair a smartphone with the Honeywell OELD, you can perform many tasks for your Searchpoint Optima Plus and Searchline Excel detectors wirelessly and from a convenient position. Use the mobile app to

• specify the target gas
• configure alarm set points
• perform one-man calibrations
• access event logs, perform diagnostics
• check detector status and more

Bluetooth® connectivity allows allow of the above without the need to go back and forth to the control room, or open the enclosure on your gas detector.  That means no hot-work headaches
like obtaining permits, declassifying the area or adding more manpower.  For detectors in hard-to-reach locations such as a duct, you can position the corresponding Honeywell OELD remotely in an easy-to-access location and use the smartphone app to interact with the detector wirelessly.
