Vaisala GM70 Portable Carbon Dioxide CO2 Meter

The Vaisala Gm70 Hand-Held, Portable RH&T meter  is designed for demanding spot-checking applications of carbon dioxide, co2.  The GM70 consists of an MI70 Vaisala indicator and is supplied with one of two sensor options (both fitted with Vaisala CARBOCAP sensor technology)…

  • GMH70 Diffusion probe with handle and calibration potentiometer
  • GM70PUMP pump with inbuilt sample cell to direct co2 gas across the sensor

The MI70 indicator will accept 2x probes to run simultaneously, including a range of dedicated dewpoint probes (from the DM70 range) and Relative Humidity and Temperature probes (from the HM70) range.  The MI70 indicator includes a datalogging facility (2700 datapoints memory) and can be supplied with Windows® Software MI70LINK with USB interface for graphing of collected information.

Vaisala GM70 Carbon Dioxide CO2 Portable Instrument specifications

Both Vaisala GM70 pump and diffusion probe sensor options are available with the following measurement ranges…

  • 0…2’000 ppm CO2
  • 0…3’000 ppm CO2
  • 0…5’000 ppm CO2
  • 0…7’000 ppm CO2
  • 0…10’000 ppm CO2
  • 0…2 % CO2 (20’000ppm)
  • 0…3 % CO2 (30’000ppm)
  • 0…5 % CO2 (50’000ppm)
  • 0…10 % CO2 (100’000ppm)
  • 0…20 % CO2 (200’000ppm)

Typical atmospheric co2, in an open field remote from traffic is approx 400ppm according to a recent BBC report.
