Vaisala DMP7 Dew Point Probe

Vaisala DMP7 Dew Point and Temperature probe incorporates Vaisala DRYCAP® technology.  This is ideal for very dry applications, such as compressed airlines and driers.  The Vaisala DMP7 is part of the Indigo family and works best with Indigo 500 series, or even Indigo 200 series in lower demand environments.  The compact nature of the DMP7 probe is ideal for limited space applications.  Both Indigo options offer calculated outputs.  In many applications an RH sensor (HUMICAP®) is the most commonly understood device, however DRYCAP® technology will offer a much more stable measurement in dry environments, whilst providing the same output that your PLC or data acquisition system expects.  Speak to one of our engineers at Fluidic for help with product selection.

Vaisala DMP7 DRYCAP® sensors are resistant to particulate contamination and offer unmatched performance in dynamic and low dew point applications.
A chemical purge minimizes effects of contaminants by self cleaning via heating “burn off”. In environments with high concentrations of chemicals and cleaning agents, the chemical purge option helps to maintain measurement accuracy between calibration intervals.  Fluidic work closely with the Vaisala factory to offer ongoing calibration of all their dew point instrument lines.

An optional pressure-tight compression fitting is available for Vaisala DMP7. When installed with this accessory, the Vaisala DMP7 is suitable for installations with pressure in range 0 … 10 bar (0 … 145 psia).

Vaisala DMP7 is compatible with Vaisala Indigo series transmitters with 4-20mA output, or as a standalone probe using digital Modbus RTU over RS-485 serial bus communications. For easy-to-use access to field calibration, device analytics, and configuration functionality, the probe can be connected to Vaisala Insight software for
Windows®.
