Vaisala Indigo 500 Series Transmitter

Vaisala Indigo 500 is an industrial-grade, robust transmitter with multi-parameter support for stand-alone smart probes. The plug-and-play probes are easy to install and remove for calibration. Vaisala Indigo 500 can display measurements on the spot as well as transmit them to automation systems through analogue signals, relays, or Modbus TCP/IP protocol.

Vaisala Indigo 500 series offers many additional features to the standalone probes. The touchscreen display provides local data visualization and easy access to probe configuration. The transmitter also extends the options for connectivity, supply voltage and wiring. It also provides mechanical support when wall-mount probe installation is preferred.​ Rugged IP66- and NEMA4-rated  metal enclosure ensures reliable performance even in the harshest conditions.

There are 2 versions of the Vaisala Indigo 500 Transmitter family:

• Vaisala Indigo 510 Transmitter
  • Single Probe input with 2x analogue outputs (eg RH&T from one probe)
• Vaisala Indigo 520 Transmitter
  • Allows upto 2x probe inputs along with 4x analogue outputs and 2 relays switches
  • Note that the Indigo 520 would be required, for example, with the heated HMP7 sensor and separate TMP1 temperature probe

• Humidity and temperature probes: HMP1, HMP3, HMP4, HMP5, HMP7, HMP8, HMP9, and TMP1
• Dew point probes: DMP5, DMP6, DMP7, DMP8
• CO2 probes: GMP251, GMP252
• Vaporized hydrogen peroxide probes: HPP271, HPP272
• MMP8 moisture in oil probe
