The Vaisala DTR500 protects measurement instruments from scattered and direct solar radiation and rain, ensuring reliable measurement data. This shield is available for vertical pole, horizontal beam or flat surface.
The special plastic used in the plates has excellent thermal characteristics, the white outer surface reflects radiation, the black inside absorbs accumulated heat. The shields are easy to install and are available separately as an additional accessory for the humidity instruments, to be integrated, for example, into HVAC application ventilation systems or a wide variety of weather stations and observing systems.
The Vaisala DTR500 is suitable for a wide range of applications and is maintenance-free.
