Vaisala HMD80 Duct Mount RH&T Transmitters

Vaisala HMD80 Duct Mount RH&T transmitters are aimed at the building automation market.  Ideal for HVAC duct control, Vaisala HMD80 transmitters employ the cost effective INTERCAP® humidity sensor.  Along with standard options of relative humidity outputs, Vaisala HMD80 series are able to offer calculated parameters of dew point temperature, wet bulb temperature, and enthalpy.


All Vaisala HMD80 (and TMD80) duct mount instruments are IP65 rated.  The following models give options on output type and display…


  • TMD82, 2-wire/4-20mA output (Temperature only instrument)
  • TMD83, 3-wire/voltage output (Temperature only instrument)
  • HMD82, 2-wire/4-20mA output
  • HMD82D, 2-wire/4-20mA with local display
  • HMD83, 3-wire/voltage output
  • HMD83D, 3-wire/voltage output with local display


The clean, simple design of the Vaisala HMD80 transmitters make these instruments ideal for shopping centres, university/school builds, swimming pools and general office monitoring.  Uncertainty is within ±3% over the normal working range, rising to ±5% at higher humidities.  For tighter control we recommend the Vaisala HMD60 or HMD70 transmitters which also include factory calibration certs as standard.


Fluidic have a calibration lab and are able to calibrate RH&T transmitters to UKAS traceable standards.
