Vaisala MMP8 Moisture in Oil Probe

Indigo-compatible MMP8 probe incorporates the Vaisala HUMICAP 180L2 sensor, which is optimized for moisture in oil applications. The probe is suitable for demanding moisture measurement in various oils such as transformer, hydraulic, and lubrication oils and includes a CIGRE-recommended traceable calibration certificate.

The MMP8 probe measures dissolved moisture in oil in terms of water activity (aw), relative saturation (%RS), and temperature (T). It also calculates ppm concentration for specific oils. This probe can function as a standalone instrument with Modbus RTU communication, otherwise, it is compatible with the Indigo transmitters if analogue outputs, relays, or a display are needed.

MMP8 is part of the Indigo family and is compatible with Indigo500 and Indigo200 series transmitters. It can be used with Vaisala Insight PC software for data visualization, easy probe configuration and self-calibration.
