Vaisala HMP5 RH&T Probe for High Temperatures

Vaisala HMP5 is a high performance relative humidity and temperature probe for extreme temperature installations.  Common applications include baking ovens, kilns and industrial driers where measurement performance and chemical tolerance are essential. Vaisala HMP5 probes are compatible with the Indigo transmitter series, including Indigo 200, Indigo 300 and the flagship Indigo 500 transmitters.  Vaisala HMP5 is suitable for applications within the temperature range -70…+180degC.  A long 253mm probe allows the probe to be mounted through, eg oven, walls.  Several mounting accessories are available.  Contact Fluidic for help with product selection.  Probe body material is 316L stainless steel.  The sensor head incorporates Vaisala’s unique HUMICAP® technology along with a robust Pt100 temperature sensor.  Together with Indigo integration a chemical purge can be activated for automatic sensor cleaning ensuring highest performance in challenging applications.  As an alternative to Indigo integration, the probe can be used as a standalone digital Modbus RTU transmitter over an RS-485 serial bus.
