Status DIN Rail Temperature Transmitters take a raw signal from RTD or thermocouples and provide a conditioned 4-20mA output that can incorporated into your control system. One benefit is that this signal may be sent over distance without degradation. Status DIN Rail Temperature Transmitters are 2 wire, loop powered instruments.
Status DIN Rail Temperature transmitters accept a variety of RTD inputs (Pt100 being most popular) and many thermocouple types. A resistance input can also be selected. An example of this would be in conjunction with a float level sensor application. Various versions of these transmitters would also allow a non linear signal, for example volume filling in a tank.
Status DIN Rail Temperature transmitters come with a small footprint. The module has a width of 17.5mm, reducing panel size and associated costs. Installation is directly to standard “top hat” DIN rail (EN 50022) and designed to withstand multiple replacements during assembly.
The following DIN Rail Temperature Transmitters are available as standard:
Through our partnership, Fluidic also offer a range of ATEX qualified DIN rail temperature transmitters from Status. See the SEM1801/2 series for more information.
All of the above temperature transmitters are configurable via free of charge Status “SpeedLink” software (contact Fluidic for a link to download) along with a standard mini USB “camera” cable. Profiles etc can be saved and configurations easily uploaded to multiple devices quickly and efficiently.
Fluidic are a recognised partner of Status Instruments for Scotland and the North of England. Along with the above DIN rail mounted temperature transmitters we offer head mounted transmitters and a range of signal conditioning instrumentation. Our instrumentation engineers are product trained and are able to help with instrument selection within the full Status Instruments supply scope.
