Vaisala TMP1 Temperature Probe

Vaisala TMP7 Temperature Probe is an industrial focused sensor for use with the Indigo500 series transmitters and free Insight PC Software.  Common install areas include pharmaceutical labs and calibration workshops, where accuracy and stability are of utmost importance.  Most commonly though, the Vaisala TMP1 temperature probe is used in conjunction with the Vaisala HMP7 RH&T Probe  and Indigo 520 Transmitter.  In this setup, high humidity applications can be carefully monitored with a heated RH sensor and the Vaisala TMP1 used to compensate for temperature.  See the video below fo more information.

  • Measurement range −70 … +180 °C (−94 … +356 °F)
  • Accuracy at +23 °C is within ±0.1 °C
  • Sensor Pt100 RTD Class F0.1 IEC 60751
  • Operating temperature of probe body −40 … +80 °C
  • Operating temperature of probe head −70 … +180 °C
  • IP66 body, temperature probe itself is IPX8/IPX9 suitable for immersion
  • Operating voltage 15 … 30 V DC (typically supplied by Indigo 520 transmitter)
  • Current consumption 10 mA typical
  • Digital output RS-485, non-isolated (or 4-20mA via Indigo 520 transmitter)
  • Protocols Modbus RTU
